Monitoring Configurations
Configuration 1: Data Collection Terminal
This configuration has a FasTrak2™ data collection board located at each die cast machine. These are networked to a central computer called a "Data Collection Terminal"
This "Data Collection Terminal" monitors all of the FasTrak2™ boards, collecting the shot information and displaying it on the screen as each shot completes.
Configuration 2: Remote Data Collection Terminal
This is similar to Configuration one except the Data Collection Terminal is remote, normally located in the Die Cast Office. Often the Remote Data Collection Terminal is a customer supplied pc running a copy of the True-Trak 2020 ™ Application Software
Configuration 3: Completely Integrated Monitoring and Optional SureTrak2™ Shot Control
The FasTrak2™ data collection board and the monitoring computer are housed together in a single case, allowing the operator complete monitoring capability at the die cast machine.
Network Options
Network Workstation
The Network Workstation allows remote monitoring of shots being collected by a Data Collection Terminal or Terminals or by Completely Integrated Monitoring Systems. The workstation is normally located in the office and allows office personel to view the shot data realtime.
Network Data Archiver
The Data Archiver is a special computer that gathers copies of the shot data as it is taken. This data is backed up periodically in zip files stored at a location defined by the user. A local installation of the True-Trak 2020 ™ Application Software is installed on the Data Archiver, allowing the user to restore archived data without affecting the current data on the monitoring computer.
